Local data

Recordings, audio, transcripts, analysis, videos and settings are stored and processed on your Windows PC. Full VODs are not sent to our service. You determine local retention.

Website and connection service

Cloudflare serves this website and the connection service. Technical connection data, such as IP addresses, are processed for delivery and security, based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Optional TikTok connection

The service processes account identifiers, profile names, permissions, encrypted tokens and publishing IDs to provide the connection and publishing you request, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The Windows app does not contain the app secret. Its session is stored locally using Windows protection. Only explicitly confirmed videos are transferred directly from your PC to TikTok.

Connection sessions expire after seven days. Expired service data are cleaned up daily. Disconnecting revokes tokens and removes the associated server data. Local checkpoints remain until local removal to prevent duplicate uploads. Manage already-published content on TikTok. TikTok privacy policy.

Included creative text service

AI hooks and descriptions are a built-in part of VenuzClips. To provide the service you request, short transcript excerpts, scene metadata and limited recent caption examples are sent from the Windows app to our Cloudflare connection service and then to OpenAI for text generation. No VODs, audio files or video frames are sent for this feature. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The service stores a hashed installation-session identifier, activation and expiry times, request hashes, and usage counters for access control and cost limits. Installation sessions expire after 90 days and can be revoked by the operator. One-time activation codes expire after 72 hours. Generated text is cached encrypted for up to 24 hours, plus the daily cleanup interval; request excerpts are not retained in service logs. Daily usage counters are kept for up to three days plus the daily cleanup interval. Requests are sent with API response storage disabled; provider-side processing and retention remain subject to the provider's applicable policies. Local results remain in your library until you remove them. The service is required for new AI text generation; there is no alternative local text generator.

Downloads and support

Downloading speech models retrieves files from Hugging Face, which involves technical connection data. Support emails are used to respond to your request and are generally deleted after twelve months unless retention is otherwise necessary. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR, as applicable.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and, where applicable, portability of your data; withdraw consent with future effect; and object where entitled. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

Local functions remain usable without TikTok account data. There is no automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.
